Warning on Firearms Fraud

Not sure where to post this, so if it needs to be moved, so be it. I just want to warn board members about Patrick Baylor ,Arlington, TX. I paid him $1,600 for a Colt Mustang Plus II Lite on 15 June 2013 and to date he has neither returned my money nor shipped the pistol to my dealer. He has not answered my e-mails nor his telephone - until today, when he told me I had the wrong number. My cell phone, however, clearly recorded it as the correct number. He has also defrauded GunBroker and GunsAmerica of their fees, and I have filed charges against him with the Arlington, Texas, police department, the U.S. Postal Inspectors, the FBI, and the BATFE. We might as well use the agencies we pay for to actually enforce the laws for a change. If anyone has any knowledge of this person, please contact me at grtscott@hotmail.com. Thanks! Tom W. Glaser

Man, I hate thieves!
What are his GA's and GB's handles? Has he been banned from those sites?

On GunBroker it's Bouvier48, listed in Shreveport, LA, and Bouvier1964 on GunsAmerica in Arlington, TX. GunBroker has told me it's investigating, but no additional response from GunsAmerica.

What's the free, default insurance on Gunbroker? $500? $1000? Can you at least get some $ back that way?

The Shreveport Pat Baylor is the 82 year old dad. He was probably imitating him. His name is Patrick Bouvier Baylor and he is 49 and living in Dallas now. Good luck getting your money back.

I recall, sometime back, contacting a seller in Arlington Texas (I remember because I spent sometime in Arlington Oregon) about a listing and I had some questions about some pretty basic things. The answers I got made me think the seller did not have the gun in hand.

You joined in 2005 and only have 5 posts, 2 of them being here. What have you been doing this entire time?

Collecting .380s. I initially joined primarily to post my want list. Most of my posts have been on the NAPCA web site. I also make presentations at our local collectors' club meetings. Oh, and working as a high school social studies teacher. BTW, I did acquire a Model 28, so all I need now is either a model 25 or the barreled slide and magazine for a 25. Any help out there?

I went through a similar situation with a Curtis Persons in Harker Heights Tx.
I called the local PD and explained my situation. I told them I wanted my money back or the rifle I had paid for. They sent an officer out who had a conversation with this person who happened to be on probation. I did my money back. It did take a lot of phone work and head aches.
