gen 4 glock 21 FDE
Hey guys, I just got home from the LGS and I'm feeling pretty excited and lucky! I ended up finding two Gen 4 Glock 21 FDE 's and got one OTD for under $700. From what i understand these new g21's in FDE are pretty rare and hard to come by. I'm thinking I should get the other one the store has purely as an investment purpose. Are they going to be a fairly rare glock? Do you guys think I should snag the second one before someone else does?

The firearms distributor Lipsey's ordered the dark earth Glocks. They sold pretty fast and I would suppose that they might order more in the future. I picked up a Gen 4, G17, in dark earth. They might not be rare in the future, but who knows.

I think i might have to pick the second one up, just in case. I know plenty of people that'd buy it if i leave it unfired even if they don't end up being as "rare" as I'm hoping. I would love to find a FDE G19 for myself tho! Thats after I pick up a Gen 1 G19 of course lol.

Congrats, we love our gun porn/eye candy on this site, its like girl walking into a strip club with a trench coat and saying her boobs and nipples are large. The anticipation waiting for the view causes many to hoop and holler , I have been guilty of this in both instances

I would buy it because you like it not because of collector/investment value someday. Most glocks dont sell for more than $600 anyway, even if one thinks it has collector value. It's a niche market and you might have a tough time trying to find that one buyer who will give you more that $700 for it.

Ditto. Been looking for months now. Buffertech, ZEV, JP, Dawson Precision, Lone Wolf all make Gen 4 magwells... but only for the small frame. Does anyone know of a large frame gen 4 magwell? Or a gunsmith that could fabricate one? I'm building an IDPA CDP gun, and would like to put a magwell on it. I can do the Sevingy Speedway instead, but that's a permanent mod to the gun.
BTW, Dave Dawson said if there's enough interest, he'll make them... so if anyone wants one, please call Dawson Precision and add your name to the interest list.

OTD for less than $700? WTF? You think this is a good deal? My LGS has FDE's for $499 (Gen3) and $549 (Gen4) all day long. I just grabbed an FDE G19 last week.

Not necessarily a bad deal. The G21 large frames are going for considerably more $ than the small frame guns. I have yet to see a G21gen4FDE sell for under $600, and that's not counting shipping, tax, transfer fee. There are lots of little FDEs in the $499+up range, but not the .45s.

EVERY FDE was either $499 or $549 at my LGS. They said its the lowest Glock will let them sell it for.
