i admit buying some guns from Cabela's when they had their $180 yugo sks sale, and a M1917 for $700 (I know not a screaming deal but average) but some of their guns - Luger russian capture for $2,300 leave me shaking my head

Did they finally get the P250 fixed, or is still an American made POS? I think Buds was trying to dump a bunch of P250's awhile ago for a somewhat lower price-$4-500? Some fool will buy it though, just give it time.

The one in Allen Texas has what has to be an early 50's Colt Commander that is in really good condition that they want $750+ for. Not bad until you take a look at the side of the slide with the roll marks on it and see that the original owner CARVED his Texas driver license number on to said slide. If it had been done carefully and subtly, (say under the Colt rollmarks) by a professional then yeah maybe I'd consider it. However when it looks like it was done by a 1st grader still trying to master their numbers and letters, I'm inclined to decline.

I did offer $200. The gentlemen said that the gun was so rare that I'd likely not find another. I agreed, but said that "if I do it won't have someone's questionable engraving skills all over it, good luck."

I surf on sig forum once in awhile and it is mixed, some buy the 250 and say it is great but others bash it because of early issues or it isn't a real sig

its like the Gen4 of Sig

for a second I thought the ad was for the 2-sum which is a full and compact pistol but it isn't

Just last week I saw at the cabelas in KC a gen 3 glock 23 that looked like it had been thrown across a parking lot and then a sports car had done a burnout on it. No kidding it had chunks missing out of the frame and gouges in the slide from sliding across asphalt and they had $425 on it.
