I understand, but if you fire 1000 rounds in a day in some pistol courses or mix plated and lead you can have issues. Firing out of battery being one of those day ruining event.

Can it be done, sure, but the risk is there. Minor changes to OAL or setback can cause exponential increases to chamber pressure very quickly.

I would advise ANY shooter not to do this, spend the money on a aftermarket bbl and shoot lead all day.

good luck.

My Gen4 G17 had similar "brass in the face" issues and
a few stove-pipes also. After this continued after a few
hundred rounds I installed a new WOLF extractor. Now
it sends the brass away from me and into the next county!
The few stove-pipe problems I had have disappeared.

I have not been a Gen 4 fan at all. I recently had an extra Gen 4 Glock 21 come in and it felt great in the hand. So, I took it to the range with 500 rounds. 2 hours later the ammo was gone and I did not have one single issue. I also found this to be more accurate than my Gen 3 21. I was putting 13 rounds into the size of a quarter at 25 feet with little effort. Needless to say, I love it and am glad I took it for a spin.

G19 all is perfect since the first day I loaded it and shot it. I was kinda worried if I was going to get one with the ejector problems or not but glad I got lucky almost 1k rounds and no problems.

I have noticed that the barrel/slide/frame fit on my gen4 19 is much tighter compared to my gen3 19.

I don't know if it just my pistols or if Glock is building them tighter.

0 issues with my G22 gen4 with 0 rounds fired. I have notice that with my gen4 also. They do seem to be a little tighter. I also noticed I have excellent case support with mine. They isnt any brass visible with a round dropped into the barrel. When did glock change that. My gen3 g22 I had less than 1 yr ago had noticable less support.

1. Which model(s) do you own? gen4 34 (Blue Label/minus connector/0-2-4 RSA)

2. Which fits your situation:
C. I had ejection problems, Glock (or armorer) fixed it, and it now rocks.

3. Notes/comments regarding your situation and your thoughts on this issue: Frequent erratic ejections documented via GoPro head cam. Found extractor to fit a bit snug in the slide (would not fall free on its own when removing). Used Dremel to polish top and bottom of extractor so that it moved easily in the slide. Haven't had brass to the head since. Same ammo. Shot around 1500-2000 rounds since fix.

Gen 4 G19 had the updated RSA spring, but the 336 ejector. Put about 600 rounds through it with with Brass to the head (say 1-2 out of every 15-30 rounds).
Sent to it in to Glock had the new ejector put in.
Still get 2 brass to the head or eye out of 100. I have put 250 rounds of Federal 115 since it came back from Glock. I am disappointed that after sending it to them that the brass is still coming back every so often to hit me in my safety glasses. I don't think that they have it all solved yet.
