Gen 4 G26 feeding problems! It will fire one, maybe two, then will not feed. Rack the slide, then back in business for 1-2 more rounds. What gives?!

Took my Gen 4 17 out earlier today. Second time out with it and ran good, no brass to the face. All I've fed it has been ppu and pmc.

Ejects at 3:30 just like my older Gen 3 19.

What gives is, like me, you bought one of Glock's "imperfection" products...read the new book about Glock...it explains their corporate attitude (Party on!)....best solution is the wonderful flock of niche businesses that supply products to fix imperfect glocks....time to do some research. Mine was crap out of the box. Thanks to the Glock fixers I was able to convert my G26 Gen 4 into a working pistol...cost a couple hundred...but it works now. Enjoy the learning adventure. For all those who got a working Glock out of the box...say thank you God....cause its a crap shoot. Just please don't tell us with imperfect Glocks that we're somehow at fault or must be crazy because yours works fine...

Read my sig line. Not one single malfunction of any kind. Not one. And that's with many thousands of rounds of all different types. So...I guess it's just yours.

Glock 26 not feeding

Just got off of the phone with Glock, they told me to ship it back to them and they would check it out and see what the problem was.
No limp wristing, ran all commercial types of ammo through, used several different mags, including G19 and G17 mags. Still wants to not feed.
We will see what Glock has to say about it in about a month or less (they said turn around time is 2-4 weeks..sometimes less)

Gen4 17 - Flawless

Gen4 35 - Mine had a defective RSA out of the box. The flange on the front of the guide rod that fits into the slide was a tiny bit too small which caused it to push through and the gun wouldn't go into battery on occasion. I replaced it with an RSA that had the correct flange circumference (the difference was noticeable when you held them side-by-side) and it has performed flawlessly ever since.

Gen 4 Glock 26 runs perfect. Pearce plus 2 makes it a great carry gun. Switch off with my XDM 3.8 compact 45 and no other carry guns are in my future. I don't believe in the "gun of the month" way of thinking. Same with my competition guns. Get what works and stick with it.

Gen 4 G17 with zero issues.

Had a chance to run her thru the paces and I am 100% satisfied.

Zero FTE, FTF with now 300 rounds down range with Winchester White Box 115 grain, PMC Bronze 115 grain, Blazer Aluminum 124 grain, Federal HST 147 Grain.

The Beavertail Backstrap is on to stay.

My 19 is going back for this exact same problem. Should be in Glock's hands on Monday.

Gen 4 19 born 2/26/13 erratic ejection and BTF through first 200 rounds. Did a search here and called Glock. Don't bother with email.
Honed the sides of the #2 extractor and saw an improvement over the next 75 rounds. A new #4 extractor arrived yesterday from Glock and ran great for 50 rounds today. Seems ok now and I'm cautiously optimistic. Love the gun.

Gen4 G23, my first Gen4; occasional brass to face only issue, but it's an early one and I haven't swapped out all the updated parts.

Subsequent Gen4s, in order of purchase: G23 FDE, G19 FDE, G19, G34 and G21. No problems with any of these...same boring, reliable operation like my Gen3 guns.

Gen 4 Model 26

A) I have had no problems with this pistol.

I know that the gen 4 model 26 is using the same recoil spring setup that was fitted to my gen 3 model 26. Since this was not a change that was made on the subcompact models, I wouldn't worry about them as much. Really, I just like the ergonomics of the new grip better and thats is the only reason for anyone to buy a gen 4 model 26 over a gen 3.
As for the model 19, the recoil spring used in the gen 4 is different. I imagine that some issues may have occurred with certain ammunition due to the new spring having different characteristics. Likely, it is designed for higher velocity rounds and many problems that are occurring happen with standard pressure 115gr. ammunition.
