Gen4 22 (470 rounds) & Gen4 19 (410 rounds), no problems with either. Both guns fed a mix of various FMJ & HPs and have been great. The G19 is my main carry gun right now with HST 147 standard pressure...

Just received ejector from Glock ...

I have a previous post - the short of it. New Gen 4 Glock 23. had about 20% shot back at me at 6:00 - some would fly gracefully over my head - others would not clear and nail me between the eyes or on the head. It was not consistent. Called glock and complained they sent a new ejector to my armorer. Installed last night and shot 100 rounds just now.

.......No issues. Its fixed. Great i am a bit relieved. The new ejector has a bend in it where the other one was straight.
  • New ejector 28926
  • Old ejector 1882
Looking at the tip of the ejector its like someone twisted it slightly counter clockwise 10-15 degrees. Probably could have done it myself.

I have a G19 Gen4. I have had it for almost a year.

It has been flawless from day one. It still has the #336 ejector and the original extractor, I did replace the recoil spring when Glock sent them out, but the original was fine. Not only has this gun worked perfectly for me but also for several “girly girl” friends that have shot it.

This G19 is my everyday carry gun, not by choice but because I have been looking for a G32 Gen 4 since Glock announced them back in January (when I sold my Gen3 G32). My plan was to have a G32 Gen4 to carry and this G19 Gen4 set up the same way (Glock night sights and a smooth faced trigger, otherwise stock) as a practice gun.

I like the Gen4’s. Eventually I will get a G20 Gen4 when they come out. Someday perhaps a G35 as a fun gun as well.

A G34 Gen4 about a month old here - my first Glock and my first 9mm. No issues yet with about 600 rounds downrange. My wife finds it easier to shoot than her S&W M&P 9c; at this point, I am better with the S&W.

G19 Gen 4
Go it 05/2012

I just shot 100rds through it today with zero problems. The first 5 rounds were in the 10 ring at 21 feet with the standard sights. I am very happy with the firearm and will most likely get another gen4 when the funds become available.

Glock 26, Gen 4

Latest May 2012 production... hot off the press

200 rounds WWB fired

1 spent casing ejected weak and back towards me, did not hit my face however

199 spent casings ejected strong to the right, as expected

200 rounds fired without any stoppages or failures to fire

I have already put in an order for a Gen 4 G19 and a Gen 4 G34.

1. Model 22

2. A. I have no problem with this handgun

3. Personally owned being used as a police duty pistol with Surefire X300 attached. I do have the newer recoil spring installed as it was changed for free by my department on all Gen4's, although I never had any issues before the change. 1000's of rounds through it without a hiccup. I don't rotate ammunition types much, most is Speer Gold Dot, Speer Lawman, or Winchester white box.

Glock 22 Gen 4. 500 rounds, not a single hic up, and not a single shell has hit my head.

Glock 19 Gen 4. SUY prefix, test fired end of April. 250 rounds through it, WWB and S&B. Have been hit in the shoulder a couple times. Had a failure to eject today with the brass getting stuck in the ejection port. I see the 043 on the recoil spring and 30274 on the ejector. Don't know what to check out otherwise.

1. Which model(s) do you own?
17 G4

2. Which fits your situation:
C. I had ejection problems, Glock (or armorer) fixed it, and it now rocks.

3. Notes/comments regarding your situation and your thoughts on this issue.
Before I had the ejector replaced, the casings hit me in the head or sometimes went left (i don't know how that's even possible) New ejector, and the casing come out to 3 or 4 o'clock.

my round counter is broken (some of you are very accurate about this), but I'd guess it has 1000ish 9mm through it, and 2000 .22 lr.

Very happy now.

Bought a Gen4 G19 FDE a month ago and have put about 500 rounds down range. No failures of any kind other than the occasional "weak ejection" where the case kind of "dribbles" out of the slide but I don't really consider it a failure unless it fails to go BOOM every time I pull the trigger. So far this one has done just that. I also have a Gen3 and can definitely tell the difference between the two, especially in the grip and recoil areas, in which the Gen4 is superior.

OK here you go. G17 Gen2 (almost new last year), G26 Gen 3 New 6 months ago. 3,500 rounds. One stovepipe G17 likely the operator learning the gun. No real problems. May throw one over my head occationally but not a problem. They work well when using quality amo.

Gen 4 g19---- 30 % of brass to forehead
Gen 4 g26----20% of brass to forehead
Gen 4 g32----0% of brass to forehead
All guns have not had any ftf or fte.
I think maybe the stiffer dual recoil assembly on the 9mm glocks changed the ejection angle slightly from previous models. It seems that higher power calibers seem to work the springs and slide better on gen 4 models. I think once the 9mm glocks get broke in it would happen less often. I should try some +p+ in my 19 to see if the ejection angle changes a bit.

my Gen 4 G17 had a few feeding issues in the beginning due to the mag springs being too stiff. i left them loaded for a week or two and haven't had an issue since and im up to 2500 rounds.

Round update since I last posted:

Gen 4 19 - Just under 2,000. A round upside the head every so often.

Gen 4 23 - Right around 5,500. Strong ejection--almost too strong as I don't get to recoup much of my brass to reload.

Gen 4 21 - Around 3,000 rounds. Also an occasional round upside the head.

All my Gen 4s still going strong with zero failures to date. I'm not one bit concerned about the rounds to the head as just about all my other platforms do it on occasion as well (plus I'm shooting my under powered reloads.)

Update: We ran ~ 250 rounds through the 34 Gen4 this past weekend - all ejections went to the right, and our accuracy with the pistol has improved. We're happy Glockers. We assume we've finally gotten the gun broken in.

I have around 7,000 rounds through my G19 G4. Yes 7,000... Thats a perk of working at a gun store.

I bought mine in December, and I only had a stovepipe a few times.

So the answer is............ wait for it..........

Co-worker has a G23 FDE G4 and has about 1000 rounds in it and hasn't had a problem yet of any kind what so ever.
