I have a gen 4 22,23, and 2 gen 4 17s. The g22&23 were purchased prior to July 2011. The 17s have been purchased since the first of the year.
No issues with any or the 4. The 22 and one 17 are duty guns for edc on duty and the 23 is my ccw/off duty gun. The other 17 is just cause.

1. Which model(s) do you own?
Glock 26
2. Which fits your situation:
A. I have no problem with this handgun:
No problem that bothers me
B. I have ejection problems with this handgun
I have gotten some brass in my face. Is that a Gen 4 problem? A problem with the Gen 4 26 in particular? Is there and ejector recall?
C. I had ejection problems, Glock (or armorer) fixed it, and it now rocks.
Not sure I have a problem.
D. I had ejection problems, Glock (or armorer) fixed them, but it still isn't right.
N/A
3. Notes/comments regarding your situation and your thoughts on this issue.
Was there any issue with any Gen 4 26s?
PS: For what it's worth, my 26's brass date is 01/27/11. How do I check my extractor type?

Shot 410 rounds through my new Gen 4 G-19. Zero issues. A few pieces of brass to the head on one hand and weak hand shooting (also happens with my other Glocks if I don't have a firm grip.) All with my personal light reloads.

Went back to the range again today. The 19 is continuing to perform flawlessly. I used Fed Champion today. My 26 is the same way.

250 rounds downrange now in my g22. No issues whatsoever. All brass landed nicely in a pile at 3'o clock.

It's a pain in the ass but it's a great shooting gun so I will give it a chance. An armorer is looking at it and hopefully will have it fixed soon.

Finally sent it off to Glock last week for repair. Will report back when it gets back home.
On a side note, So far I'm really impressed with Glock's customer service. I emailed them about the problem and they actually called me the next day! Less than 24hr response. They are fixing it on their dime. I had to pay shipping though because the gun was more than a year old. I'm ok with that. I hope this gets fixed right, I really like this gun. It's so fast shooting and very accurate.

The gun just got back yesterday and I'm picking it up from FedEX this afternoon. I'll have to wait till the weekend to shoot it though. will report back with my results.

Gen4 G19
Didn't believe all the negatives.
Bought a G19 based on reputation.
Perfect through 400 rounds.
Glad I did.

1. Which model(s) do you own?
G17 Gen4(Factory fired 06/28/11) - Have about 400 rounds through the pistol.
2. Which fits your situation:
Weak ejection on mild to mid range loads, adequate
ejection on full power loads.
3. Notes/comments regarding your situation and your thoughts on this issue.
I am trying a couple of the suggested extractor mods,
mentioned on this site, but if there is little improvement,
I can live with the current ejection function. The pistol
has been rock solid reliable, with a variety of loads, but
the accuracy is not where I have come to expect Glock
pistols to be. I purchased the pistol for GSSF matches,
but unless I can find a way to keep it stock, and get
better 25 yard accuracy, this one may be the first
Glock I have sold/traded. My G20SF, G30SF, and even
my G27 make this G17 look like a scatter gun.

I just picked up a Gen 4 21 and ran 250 flawless rounds through it this past Sunday. Also shot another 400 hundred through my Gen 4 19 (around 800 total) and no issues.

Glock 23, Gen 4. No trouble at all. I've fired maybe 200 rounds through it so far and most of the ammo were reloads. I'll keep you posted!

My Gen 4 27 was test fired in April of 2011. It's giving me a problem because it's costing me a bundle in ammo. It just keeps going bang every time I pull the trigger. I can't seem to make it fail. Shoots everything.
