A buddy wants me to buy his taurus PT111 9mm... only wants $250.00. what do you think?

I think it's overpriced unless it's new in the box. I bought mine new in 1997 for less than $300. That aside, they are decent guns. I don't shoot mine much any more (was one of my off-duty guns when I was an LEO) but have never had a problem with it.

I think I paid 249 for a used stainless one in 1999 or so.
Good little gun that I wish I would have never sold.
If the gun is used offer 200 after you are allowed to test fire the gun.

It is the stainless one. An it's only had 12 rounds put through it, been sitting in its case since he got it.

I would pass. For the same money, I rather get a Ruger or S&W Sigma. Only Taurus semi I would get is their PT92 series.

That's a good price for a SS. I have the .40 in the truck, it's a decent gun.

I had a Mil Pro 9mm that had no problems at all, although I have heared bad things about the pre "pro " models
