Fox Labs is HOT!!!

I know that all of you officers had to be hit with O.C. somewhere along the way to certify with it. I decided to see how bad the Fox Labs stuff was. I've been sprayed in the past but I must say, Damn this stuff is friggen HOT!!!

My face, neck and other areas lower were burning for hours after! My eyes are still bloodshot and feel like they are full of sand!

Needless to say, I'm sorry I was curious! At least I know it works. I'm not sure I want to try the Saber Red now. I will attest to the fact that this stuff works and is alot more powerful and effective than the stuff on the key chain that you get at the drug store!!!

Edited to add: I figured you guys and gals would get a good laugh from my curiosity!

Needless to say, I'm not doing that again.

Been hit with Fox labs and Saber Red. Fox is worst IMHO.

When we got Taser's we went to Saber Red as they claim non flamable and when we tested it, it worked good.

Fox is 20 min+ discomfort, Saber is 10-15 min discomfort for me.

You must be superman, or I'm just a pansy, because regular ol' def-tec had me out of the game for damn near an hour!

ALS Top Cop is the worst I've been sprayed with. It hit me twice as fast as anything else I've been sprayed with and lasted at least twice as long. I felt like I had a bad sunburn for 3 days or so, I have never been that uncomfortable.

I got through it with Def Tec, but certainly would not want a snoot full of anything hotter. For personal use, I mostly carry a MKVI of Def Tec, but also have a larger canister of Fox on hand.

<----Has been hit with Fox and its bad. I remember it had some people in my class hyperventilating and on the verge of passing out. Thankfully, I seem to be one of the weirdos with some sort of natural resistance to OC. Not to say it didn't hurt bad, but I was able to fight through it and complete the various drills without too much trouble. The pain didn't really set in until I got went to decon and had nothing to think about except how I wanted to get the stuff off of me.

Fox is so far the worst that I have had to deal with. Freeze +P was no picnic either.

I started to shower the next morning. That ended quickly.

Fox was worse than I expected it to be.

Hit with def-tech twice. Second time was in the academy and I took it like a girl holding my eyes shut at tight as I could and went to water after getting sprayed. A little seeped into my right eye but still made it hard to breath and burned for 20 min or so. NEVER would I take the time to satisfy my curiosity and try it again or any other brands.

O.C., C.S., Tasers, dont seem to bother me as much as they seem to bother others.

No one at work will offer me $100 to be sprayed or tased... I would take their money like a champ.

I was sprayed in 2004 with Fox 5.3 during TCLEOSE BPOC. Unfortunately, we had to run a course afterward which included jumping jacks and various other crap to get our hearts beating and lungs open. Then, we had to arrest a semi cooperative instructor, double lock and release, and call for assistance on a radio (almost nobody knew the physical address for the academy and failed that resulting in a time penalty.)

Then we had to ASP a redman and run through this stupid obstacle course on the way to the water rig.

Then, we went to lunch for 30 minutes and spent the next 5 hours doing test review in class.

Man that sucked.

This was a place that made us run to and from the jail on day one, 5 miles, in dickies uniforms and boots.

Fox Labs is hotter than anything on the market. Sabre Red IMO is second. However the difference is like getting shot with a 20 ga ir getting shot with a 12ga. Really dies not matter

I describe it as going to Mcdonald's. Order a large fry and then jump the counter and bob for them face first like apples.

I'll take Spray for a hundred, Alex.

I wouldn't take that deal to be tased tho.

Well, it's almost 24 hours later and my face still has a hint of that burning feeling and is still broke out and my eyes are still bloodshot and gritty. My boss asked me what happened. You should have seen the look on his face when I told him what I did. "You sprayed yourself with what!!!" I couldn't help but laugh. He didn't find it funny though. He said that I'm the weirdest chick he ever knew.

I'll take that as a compliment.

FOX 5.3
I still think it's the best.

Years ago, we had a lot of "Mace" products. None seemed to be worth a tinker's fart. Way before THAT, we had "CapStun"; maybe the original OC.

Anywho FOX: Warning: Cussin' & Moanin'!

two more bouncers taking the fox 5.3 challenge - YouTube

Lol!

I love the one flailing his arms around like a little girl!

We had to recite our name and SSN when were were sprayed. I got my mouth full along with my eyes. I'll never forget thy way that stuff tasted as it went down the pipe. Strangely, while my face and eyes were on fire, it really didn't burn my mouth or throat too much. I worked with one crazy Mexican that would spray Fox on tortilla chips and eat it...
