155g Lawman is pretty good. Its loaded to the same velocity as the 155g Gold Dot load for similar feel when training.

Not sure that it is the "hottest" though. Double Tap or Buffalo Bore prolly makes a a few hot FMJ loads.

Speer Lawman TMJ. Take your pick 155, 165, or 180 grain. All three run hotter than most other brands I have tried. Not the CF but the regular Lawman. Another good one is the Double Tap 200 grain FMJ. The penetration of any of these 4 loads is amazing for a 40.

The hottest 40 S&W round I came across had a 0.355 bullet on it.

About the "hottest" .40 FMJ out there. Will come closer to advertised than Double Tap.

Some really snappy stuff I have shot...well hell, I do not even remember the brand but it was an odd 170 grain.

American Eagle and Speer Lawman are loaded hotter than most other brands, at least in .40.

May have been Fiocchi. I have shot their 170 grain FMJ. Another good option.

Never tested the BB 180 grain load. Not recommended for a stock Glock. I bet it is a good load though. I have tested the DT 200 grain FMJ in my Glock and not sure of the velocity but it will penetrate similar to the 200 grain Blazer 10mm load. Runs great in my Glock 22. They also are loading a very thick brass jacketed Montana Gold FMJ. A very tough bullet.

I don't think there will be an issue in the later Glock barrels with better support. There are a lot of other pistols out there that have "loose" chambers as well. BB uses Starline brass which is a plus, Starline is tough brass. I'd say your probably looking at about 1050fps out of a G22 which is warm but nothing too outrageous.

The warmest I've seen (for a good price) this side of reloading is from Underwood's ammo. They have a website, looks pretty good.
