Sig P228-Hogue Extreme Aluminum/G 10 Wood Grips

I am about to get a Sig P228 with the regular grips(NOt E2) and I find them a bit big for my hands.Anyway,I was thinking of getting either the Hogue Extreme Aluminum or G 10 wood grips to replace the factory grips of the Sig P228.Would anybody know if these Hogue grips mentioned above are slimmer than that of a Sig Sauer P228?Also,between the Extreme Aluminum and G 10 Wood grips, which are slimmer?
Thanks.

G10's are made of high strength composites, Not wood. Hogue Extremes are as slim as it gets. E2's have the same thickness as the Hogues but are about 1/8 in closer to the backstop. G10's on my 229.The Sig Sauer Club
