Holsters

Hello everyone.
I just added a CW45 to my collection. I am having a hard time locating a holster. What other Kahr models are the same as the CW45 for a holster fit?

Congrats! I just picked up a CW45 yesterday and i believe that the crossbreed mini tuck is made to fit all Kahr P, CW, PM, and CM models in one holster. Also, I have a couple of Tagua leather holsters for my G19 and the CW45 fits in very well. This is my second Kahr(CM9 also) and they just fit in my hand perfectly.

I recommend High Noon holsters, I use the lower end split decision for my CW9.

I use a simple leather bulldog cases owb holster. I run my belt outside of the holster so that the holster and my P9 are pancaked between my belt and body. I wear it about 4 o'clock position.

Very comfy, very secure, very concealed.

My P9 is very similar in deminsions to your Khar.

Thanks,

Jimvol

For some reason i think a Kahr just looks right in Kydex. Look up Com-tac on ebay first they have some good deals on their occasionall and I would think your CW45 will fit anything made for a P45

Crossbreed. They're awesome, and they sponsor GT.

SERIOUSLY?????????? If I put the CW9 into the G26 holster, it rattles / shifts in all 6 directions. What are your G27 holster? Have pics?

BTW, mine is a Mitch Rosen.

I use a Don Hume leather IWB for my CW9. For long carry it's as comfortable as an IWB can be. So far it has held shape and stiffness well for two years. Reholstering is simple.

Mitch Rosen makes several holsters for the CW45/P45 and can be found on the Kahr website. I prefer the Premier model.

A CW9 fits into a JIT Slide designed for a 1911. Maybe it will fit your 45 as well.tom.

I'm looking to get a CW45 also, and It's nice to see more holster choices. I have a G27, so being able to use the same holster is great. There are a ton of holsters for the baby Glocks.

Another +1 for PJ Holsters. He lists the CW45 as one of the ones he does. From http://pjholster.com/?page_id=610 :
Quote:
Below are some of the options I make for the Kahr pistol line. I can make holsters for all models – CM9, PM9, CW9, K9,P40, PM45, CW45...
I have three of his holsters; two tuckables (cm9 and LCP), and a pocket holster for cm9. Forewarning, the pocket holster I received for the cm9 is very different from the pics on the website. Don't know that it's better or worse, just different; and don't know if ALL his pocket holsters are like this new style, or if this is a fluke for some reason. Whatever the reason, it's different than the web site shows. This is it, for normal, right-hand front-pocket carry:

Click the image to open in full size.

Click the image to open in full size.

I've only had it a couple weeks, and will probably modify it somewhat, opening an area forward of the grip and below the trigger guard, as I don't like only being able to access the gun with my thumb the way it currently is.

Some people may prefer it as is, as it does present a totally flat profile much like a wallet would; just not for me. Other than that, I can give an unequivocal thumbsup for PJ Holsters. The three I have are much thinner and more minimalist than most holsters - even most kydex holsters - I've had; turnaround time was 2-3 weeks, and the price is more than reasonable imo. I can also recommend the 'invisible velcro' option on the tuckables. Both of his tuckables that I have are set up that way and I like it MUCH better than the j-hook tuckable (galco) that I was using previously. With a j-hook, the belt provides zero support for the holster - it's hanging on the pants fabric and the j-hook only keeps the holster from pulling up & out when drawing. The velcro (and other normal clips) let the belt do the supporting rather than the pants, and the velcro does it with nothing visible on the outside of the belt at all.
