Ive heard that the Mossberg 4x4 is a much better gun than the ATR. Im thinking of purchasing one in .300 win mag for my pasture(300 yard and beyond) deer rifle. I like the price, the muzzle break and the action seems sound. Any input on the rifles 4-600 yard capabilities would be appreciated.

I would recommend a Savage over a Mossberg.
