any Colt snubbies out there?
Hi y'all. I'm the proud owner of 2 Colt snubs. I have a Detective Special, blue with rubber grips and a Colt Agent that is packerized with skinny wood grips. Both are the post 1972 type with shrouded ejector rods. They are absolutely awesome. Great fit and finish, lock up like a bank vault. The Agent goes out with me part time but the other is a safe queen, too pretty.
Anyone else own/shoot/carry any Hartford, CT born snubs?
Ps, pics coming soon...

I have a DS from '76. Incredibly smooth trigger (not sure if it was worked on, as I bought this used) that is better than some of my Smiths I've had trigger jobs on. Feels great in hand and is a pleasure to shoot. Quality all the way.

I've got 2 D Specials--a '36 and a '60, an older Cobra and an older Agent. Colts are THE classic snubbies. Though I also have and occasionally carry an LCR and an assortment of Smith snubbies (36,40,327pc,10, 442, 642) the Colts remain my favorites.

1954 vintage Cobra, 1968 vintage Detective Special, 1976 vintage Lawman Mk III.
They are great guns. I mostly carry one or the other of them, these days. Right now, I'm carrying the Lawman.

I have an 80's vintage Colt Agent (aluminum framed version of a DS). Love it.

I have wanted a Colt DA snub for a long time. So much that I had purchased two nice, but not collectable, 1917s that I planned to cut. Then I found that beautiful beast and life is grand.
Now, I'll just have to figure out something to do with the other ones.

Picked up a nice DS years ago at the local pawn shop. It has a great trigger. I carry either the Speer 135 Gold Dot or Federal 158 LSWHP +P in it. It is a great little carry gun.

I have a Colt Detective Special purchased in 1995. Got it primarily for my wife, but it has not been shot that much. Feels great in my hand! Glad I have it.

Couple of Dick Specials...
Top one is a '77 I got a few months ago with box and papers. Like new. I just got the bottom one this week to carry. It had the faintest suggestion of a turn line, so it's gotten carry duty. It's a 1980.

Colt
I have a Colt Detective Special purchased in 1995 from Wal-Mart. My wife and daughter carry the Colt more than me. No regrets in having bought it.
