Accuracy issues 20L owners chime in please

I am having serious accuracy issues with my 20L, not to mention feed issues 80% of the time. The barrel is a lonewolf 6" none ported. I can visually see that the chamber is not centered with the bore of the barrel, atleast it appears to be square with the barrel. One more thing to mention, it is a 2009 barrel. I have polished the feed ramp to a mirror and have only touched the chamber very lightly. There are aproximately 500 rounds of various ammo from dt, bvac, to underwoods through it. All manufactures have similar FTF and accuracy issues.

I am considering the KKM 6" barrel. I have had zero problems with my other two KKM barrels. I figure this will resolve my FTF problems. But, is the 20L 6" always going to be less accurate than standard and compact?

About your feed issues. Look at the bottom where the bullets feed from. There is a face there that first catches the bullet to feed it. Check the angle. Look at your stock slide. U will see that the lone wolf slide will not have the right angle. File it to match the stock slide. When u get it right most all feed issues will go away. U may need to do a lil work on the face by the extractor. But that is second to getting the lower angle right. I just got a longslide in today I bought off here from a guy. After I fixed the angle it feeds perfect now.

Thanks ctious, I will check out that angle today. I do know that the chamber on that barrel is tight. I get the least amount of expansion in my brass when shooting through the LWD barrel.

Just a point of reference for you. You know those orange discs for shot guns (4"?) ?

I can consistently hit them laying on the side of a berm 15 yrds away with a KKM 6" on stock slide. It's really a fun exercise.

Ok, I did a little more fluffing and buffing, changed the entry angle just a hair, and it is still having the same problems with FTF. So I decided to try the 6" barrel with my stock slide, no FTF problems anymore. Feeding is definitely not as smooth with the 6" LWD barrel as it is with the 4.6" KKM barrel, but it is feeding none the less. So I tried the 4.6 KKM barrel in my 6" slide. I am getting the exact same type of jamming issues. I know longer feel this is a problem with the barrel. So I put the LWD barrel back in the 6" slide and continue to have the same problems. After watching a few videos of gun operation and mechanics, then checking out the operations of mine, I feel it is an issue with the barrel not dropping low enough during the feed cycle. When it is jammed I can get it to load a round just by putting a little pressure on the top of the chamber. Anyone have an idea as to where I should go from here?

Get rid of that lone wolf barrel asap, there have been numerous complaints about their 10mm barrels, go with a kkm or bar-sto and you couldnt be happier.

Have you tried several different magazines? Weak magazine springs or worn/bent/damaged feed lips can cause all sorts of feeding issues.

Does the LW 6" barrel still have feed issues in your stock slide? It may be a problem with the LW slide, not the barrel. Check that the case head fits smoothly under the extractor.

I really appreciate all the feedback and help. I just want to post a quick update. Although I am having problems I am not jumping on the LWD is garbage bandwagon. All of the components for my G20L were bought from them and I have contacted them with my issues. Even though my barrel was bought in 09 and the slide in early 11/late 10 they have asked me to send it to them for their evaluation. From what I have read at this point is that their newer stuff is what most people are having problems with. I would like to give them a fair chance to evaluate my problem and make things right or tell me to pack sand. I am sure some of you are asking why I didnt deal with this sooner. Mostly because it was a project gun, and I had things like coating, and parts bought piecemeal. It hasnt been until recently that all things have come together and I have been able to (stuggled with) putting rounds down range.

Lastely, to address Yondering, I have FTF issues with all 12 factory mags that I own. When I stick the 6" barrel in the stock slide it feeds. I wouldnt say it feeds well, but it feeds. I can actual feel during the feed cycle hang up a bit, but not enough for it to stop the feed cycle.
