I stripped it down to bare, soaked it, the extractor, and the barrel in vinegar for two to three hours, rinsed and dried it, sprayed WD40 in the openings, cleaned the orange residue from the holes and cracks with a Q-tip, rubbed it, and the barrel, really good with a sanding sponge and then blasted it with WD40. After the soaking it had a flat black coating/residue which came off very easily with the medium grit.

Excellent work. I sent you a PM for some more info. How many rounds have you run through the guns since this work was done, and what effect, if any, did it have on recoil? thanks

Here's a couple of bad to the bone hunting setups. The "brown" one is a G21 with a 40SUPER conversion barrel and the "green" one is a G20 10mm...

It's a film dip process that we do. The price isn't too bad and they seem pretty durable. The "green" one is my personal "woods" gun; it gets the crap beat out of it on a regular basis. I had it dipped early last year and it is now showing some signs of wear. I am told that there is a different clear coat being used now; that is more durable than the one used on my gun. Let me know if you need any specific info; glad to help.

IIRC this is one of the special runs done either by Glock for a distributor or by a Glock distributor with Glocks approval. They only did 45's and 40's in this desert camo.

One of the things that in my opinion makes this glock more unusual than the camo pattern is the frame color. It's a tan color similar to the OD green that everyone is paying a premium for right now.

There are a few places in GA that do the hydro graphics. Slides run around 150, full pistols run anywhere from 200 to 300.

Nice slide work. Did you get it locally? I've got a guy in Brecksville that does mine.
