why would a 9mm have a bent ejector and a conversion 40/9 bbl. set up does not use the 9mm ejector. in a glock 22. also is a 11 lb. spring strong enuff for correct ejection ? in this conv. bb. do not want to order a 11 if i need a 13 or whatever.

The 9mm ejector is long and bent. The 40 ejector is long and straight.
The 40-9 conversion barrels are exactly that CONVERSIONS. They are made to work with the 40 parts.
If you start switching ejectors around you will notice the 9mm ejector hits the base of the cartridge just outside the primer. This could result in an open breach detonation when ejecting a loaded round.
You are correct, an 11lb spring is barely enough to reliably cycle the slide HOWEVER current 115 gr ammunition is BARLEY enough to cycle the slide. If you insist on shooting weak ammo you will be forced to use weak springs.
