It is about time for justice to be served. In fact it is long past time for justice to be served. For all his failure, Gov. Scott has at least got this right. Today at 4 p.m. justice will be served.

The state of Florida extended his life. The way he was living, he would have been dead in a few more years after killing the Officer anyway. Shot by another cop, shot by somebody he was stealing from or breaking into a house.
I think there have actually been studies that prove the death sentence, the way it is currently operated with the mandatory appeals and foot dragging, assures these low lifes a longer life span than if just left in thier natural enviroment.

I was thinking along the lines of Sgt127. A sentence has been meted out under the legal system and justice should be at least timely, if not swift. Two years of appeal, then bye-bye.
These criminals get sentenced to "Life with the Possibility of Death."
