My latest 22 LR

I picked this like new Ruger SP101 4" 22lr (made in 1991) at a gun show a couple of weeks ago. I added some Hogue grips that I had to replace the factory ones. I'm pretty happy about the way it shoots and looks now.

Congrats on your purchase. I think it will be very happy with it.

I bought a brand new SP101 in .22lr back in the early 90’s. I had a trigger job done on it by a Gunsmith that really knew what he was doing. It shot like a dream.

Unfortunately, I had to sell it and 2/3’s of my other guns to pay Lawyer fee’s when I was fighting my ex in court over our daughter.

I wish Ruger still made the SP101 in .22lr, because I would buy another one in a heartbeat to replace it.

I love 22s, would like to find one in good condition and priced right to add to the collection.

I see it is now an eight shot cylinder and it has fiber optic front sight. They also changed the grips on them.

I donít like the changes but I think I see one in my near future.
