22/45 at the range this weekend

My Stainless YHM Mite came in last week. Can't take it home yet, but fortunately my dealer has a range. Sorry in advance for the craptastic cellphone pics.

This is a MKII 22/45 with a fluted 4.5" Tac-Sol bbl.

And the second 100:

Quiet enough to shoot indoors without ear protection, using standard bulk .22lr ammo. Can't wait to try it outside with subsonic.

I found CCI standard velocity are the way to go. Subs get hard to find and get pricey.
The CCI standard vel. is subsonic @1050fps, but 4.5 Pac-Lite will keep bulk pack from breaking sound barrier either way. I have a Mark III with Pac-Lite and Volquartsen trigger parts and have shot a lot of different rounds out of it nothing has gone super sonic on me yet. The only thing left from Ruger on mine is the frame, pins, and magazines.

The wait sucks but will be worth it, only thing I could suggest from here is a fiber optic front sight, makes sight picture 100x's better.http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct...tNumber=885404

Also Volquartsen trigger kit.http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct...tNumber=319266

I have my reset and pull to where you have maybe a 1/4in of trigger pull nice 2lb pull.

Tac-Sol offers a rail that this barrel is tapped for. I was thinking about putting a cheap red dot on it, but I'm so happy with it as it is, that I'm not sure I want to bother. VQ trigger kit is on my list, but my lower has a couple blemishes and I'm thinking about trying to pick up a MK3 22/45 lower before I get a new trigger setup.

Yeah mine has the rail have yet to put an optic on there, have tossed the idea around a little aslo. This is an older picture does not show the fiber optic fs I went green, its so much easier to see then the black on black sights shooting at a black silhoutte.

I have had my SWR Spectre for over a year and still LOVE shooting it. Never gets old.
