Glock lubrication
When I was shooting at my local indoor range I asked the in house gunsmith about lubrication of Glocks. He gave me a pamphlet on Glock care that shows 5 or 6 points where a drop of oil should be applied. The next time I went in to shoot I asked one of the employees to recommend a good quality lubricant or oil. He said Glocks are designed to run dry and that lubricating them can actually cause failure over time. He said the Tenifer coating was all the lubrication needed and the firing pin was self lubricating. Now I am more confused than ever.
