My ugly old S&W Airweight.
This was an Airweight with a bobbed hammer that I have had and carried for years. But I decided to put a hammer on it today with a short spur so I could shoot it single action as well as double action. It still does look just as ugly as before. But it is a trusted friend.

I like it. I had a Pree model. 37 flat latch. I really liked but, my Mom liked it so I gave it to her. It was kind of beat from the Officer who carried it but it worked.

LOVE the Airweights, but I prefer a shrouded hammer.

It's not ugly to me. I look at most of the pictures on here, and it looks like the gun was taken out of the box, photographed, then put away. I like a gun with a little character, and in my opinion, nothing ages as gracefully as a revolver does.
I have a 642 that's starting to show that's it's been around the block a time or two, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.
