My GP100 uses the moon clips for that revolver.

I've been looking at the G29 now I think this pic did it for me. I want 10mm but the cost of the round I can shoot 40,or 9mm easily will pay for he conversion. ~$10 more=11 boxes of 50 = a barrel. For the times I wanna shoot a thousand rounds. I don't know why but I want a 10mm

How do they compare with recoil? I may go up to the 20sf. But I want a compact but not if it has alot of kick. I need to go rent a 10mm before I pick. I can shoot the 40sw and 45acp pretty easy.

The 29 has just a bit more recoil than the 20. But still very manageable. With the compensator the 20 is like a +p 9mm. You are right you need to try both and see what works best for you. They are both great guns. Good luck.

The G20 is nice. How long is the compensator? I'm pretty much sold now.
I always stayed away from the 10mm because if they stopped making the round? But with all the options I can't go wrong. Just buy 1000+ rd for defense/woods and I'm set. Do you keep the same magazine when using 357sig or 40.SW?

The compensator is about a 1.5 inches. I got it from Lone wolf with the threaded barrel. I like it a lot. Can get back on target in about half the time.

With REAL full power loads, the G20 is only marginally worse than a .45ACP+P. The G29 is a little worse than that. The recoil is not as big of a deal as people make it sound, but it definitely has some push to it. You will love your 10mm if you get one, and .40S&W will feel like 9mm when shot through a 10mm Glock. The heavy slides really soften up the .40S&W.
Here's my newly finished family addition:
And the whole family (I NEED about 42 more):
Just the big boys (no .45ACPs allowed here):

Tagging for later drooling.
I have a G21 and am somewhat-serious to do a LWD G20L slide/barrel assembly. Wanting to wring out as much power as possible through a Glock.

Glad you did. Thanks. Lots of eye candy. Having just bought a Delta Elite with big mod plans and having a G20 slide I am sending off to CCR, I fall into the category you speak of. Always nice to see other folks guns and what they did with them. Some very nice 10's in this thread.

I did manage to add to my 10mm family recently. I picked up a gently used G20 for 4 bills. I need to get out and shoot it now.

I think we need a new thread where you guys can post target results with these guns. In looking at these great guns and their modifications, I am curious how well they perform.

Not an extensive target. I loaded up some 11gr 180gr Blue Dot loads real quick to try it out. Definitely a difference in recoil between the two!! I took my sight adjustment tool with me so I could adjust the sights, first shot was a bit to the right as you can see, but the second one was dead on after adjusting...about 15 yds away. I don't brag, but unlike many I can actually shoot a Glock very well.
I'm not sure the velocity as I didn't chrono them, but it's wild the difference in recoil between the two. That big ole heavy longslide (plus comp) really tames it down. Should make for a fun project, got lots of bullets to work with, though I am more fond of the heavy weight bullets.
Anyway this tread is about pics. The only 10mm I have right now ( have had Kimber 10mm, SW 610, several G29sf and a old fat-style G20)
