If you are like me and you dont have a hair dryer handy, you can use a regular lighter and run it back and forth over the grip quickly for about a second or two. This will heat up the grip enough for it to become tacky and allow you to mold it to the handle. The sand will protect it from catching on fire.

what i found works best for installing the grips is to take a paper towel and soak it with alcohol to where its dripping. mop the grip with it and dry the grip with the hair dryer. this will assure the grip is primed. then follow the regular instructions. i have used the towel that comes with them and had issues. this way you can't scew up or miss anything. useing this method my grips become welded to the gun.
