Finally, it came!

Behold, the mighty SA, TRP

Was very surprised by the extras after hearing of the cardboard box lovingness.

It is more comfortable on my side than my RIA. Couldn't tell you why though.

Nice new toy.

However, I must ask what is it with Springfield and these cheap ass holsters/mag pouches? Keep those damn things and throw in some extra mags or something.

I got a set that came with my XDM 9mm and it's just flimsy junk.

First impression is I can't wait to get to the range. The fit is tight and smooth. I have not seen any blemishes on the finish.

Congrats! You are going to love shooting it.

I have the same one and it's a nice gun. It's so heavy it really comes back on target fast for me.

ETA: I love your Festus avatar. Haven't seen an episode of Gunsmoke in a long time.

I agree 110%. I have that crap that came with all of my SA's, other than my two SACS Pro's and my SACS Expert Limited. I've never used any of it one single time. I would MUCH rather have extra mags.

I have the exact same gun as well... I just put the soft rubber Kimber grips on it... The stock ones were a little Piercing!

Great Gun... Relaible, Accurate, and will be a good friend. It's on my nightstand right now.

Congrads!
