1999 p94

No matter how much I tried, I just couldn't get used to the grip on the SR9c so I traded it for a P94. Unfortunately, the P94 came with two 10rd magazines but, fortunately, I can buy Mec-Gar 17rd magazines from midwayusa.

I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with this P94. It is a very well constructed pistol, maybe a little too well constructed, but I like it. There seems to be a little extra play in the safety lever, but I am sure that some parts ordering can take care of that.

The digits are 308-58XXX.

Can't wait to get it to the range.

Just had mine out today! It is a 1998 that I bought used - in great shape.

Ruger Club

This was a gong at 21 yards.
The P94 might be my favorite nine! It has been flawless so far thru 650 rounds... representing six different loads. I don't have many pistols that have been perfect, but so far so good on this one! There is a steel ram on that far bank at about 110 yards. I was standing out in front of the pavilion so, at say 100-105 yards, I hit the ram twice..then missed twice...then hit it once and missed once - Four out of six using Ultramax reloads and Tulammo (115grs both). Then I hit it four times in a row with Geco -124gr before missing on the fifth round!! I missed once later... so four fer six again!
My best run was that magazine where I went four for five at distance, because I put the last ten rounds on two steel targets at 17 yards and the gong at 21 without missing. Too much fun!!

So, NitLion, is there a prefered brand of ammo for your gun? It kinda sounds like the P94 will digest just about anything you feed it, but I gotta ask.

And, what is the hottest load you have shot, and how did the P94 handle it?
