Hairpin trigger so I can shoot more bullets faster. Night sight so I can see dark colored images better at night.

Laser sight.
Otherwise, absolutely stock.
I pray to God that I never have to use my weapon, but if I do, I sure don't want to give some prosecutor "ammunition" to bring my mods into question.

G19, G23, G30SF, G26 - either of them carried for CCW.
Each one is absolutely 'box stock'.
I did add a Pearce +2 to one G26 magazine.

For those on which it could be done. I've installed a ghost ring rear sight. Better for my aging eyes. Other than that, nothing.

G23 with LWD 3.5lb connector, LWD stainless guide rod/spring set, ~1k rounds through it including a few hundred of my defense ammo and some modest training. I know the county prosecuter here who's done the same things to his carry gun, and it helps to be in a free state where if you do shoot someone lawfully, such modifications are not brought to bear against you.
Of course if I still lived in California, I'd just hide in my closet peeing myself ready to throw a shoe at a badguy in my home because it's better to be carried by 6 than judged by 12 there! :P

My G39 is bone stock. Shot perfect out of the box, all I did was run a bunch of carry ammo thru it.

Night sights and a butt-plug on my G26.
I tend to keep my carry guns stock.

Bone stock G26 OD for now. Someday I'll get some GAP floorplates and night sights but that's as far as I'm going with it.

stock for edc... but for HD i may get a light/laser combo. at night, even with night sights, it doesn't help me see the bad guy... it just helps me see the sights are lined up.

Cleaned, inspected, checked for any obvious defective parts, burrs or debris left over from the manufacturing & production process. Fired for function & inspected again.
Night sights installed in most cases.
Lots of practice.
