Night Sight Recommendations G30S

I'm all in on the Glock 30s. I've owned it for almost two months and it is without a doubt my "main squeeze". I love the darn thing. I'm wanting to doll her up with night sights. Any recommendations? Thanks.

Meprolights, Trijicon, XS Big Dots, Ameriglo...

Lots of options out there. I installed Mepro Tru-Dots on mine. Love 'em.

Totally right, thanks for the correction!

Also just so the OP knows, these are OEM'd by Tijicon. I LOVE having the orange front.

I have (3) 30s all with trijicon hd with orange front, $133.45 at midway usa. I use these for carry, competition and have found these to be the best and most expensive, they are good for 12 years. I have these on 6 other glocks and have special ordered one for my Ruger Snubbie Alaskan in 44 mag. I was using Mepps for the last 20 years on my carry weapons, but after testing several mfgs. sights this summer immediately settled on the Hd. Good luck in your evaluation.

I have gravitated to Heinie Straight Eight 2 dot sights. I've had them on my Glock 30.3 for years now and just bought a new set for my latest acquisition the Glock 34.3

I carry the G30S. This is a LEO conceal carry gun. We run the Meproplight sights on ours and are quite satisfied.

Like my 17 and 21sf, I will be using Trijicon HD sights on my 30s. I prefer the yellow front. # GL104Y.

When we were issued Berreta 92 Centurion pistols, they came with the Trijicons. We had zero issues with them. Either Meprolight or Trijicon are reputable companies/you can't go wrong. Stay away from slant style sights like Heinie in my opinion so you can work your slide with one hand/arm if injured, etc. LAPD SIS spec for the old Kimber 1911's was for the square night sights.

I put Trijicon HD's, orange dot on my 30S. Liked them so much, I put them on my 21SF.

I got TFO's on my G21 & like them a-lot & Trijicon's on my other Glocks ,Not the HD style But I like them, Cheaper too.
I don't even know if they make the older style anymore.
I trust you will make a good choice.

Edit , just checked my Brownells 2014 Catalog and they are listed at$92.65. JIC

I agree. I started to put the HDs on my G22, but the Ameriglo Pro I dots are very similar and only around $70. The orange front is bright and easy to pick up.

I just noticed we're neighbors.

I had TFOs installed on my Glock 23 a couple of years ago but went with Meprolights on my 30S. Put them on myself and like them fine.

I had Meprolight Tru-Dot night sights installed on my 30S ( also have them on several other Glocks). They have been excellent.
