My 1911 came in today! good/and bad

Hey guys!!

Ok so my RIA 1911 came in today! There's some good and some bad. The bad is it was not the 1911 GI model I ordered. Instead I got the RIA compact 1911. Which honestly I am loving it! I was having some trouble worryin about if I would be able to carry a full size 1911 around everyday. Now I am not worrying at all. This is perfect for daily carry! Sucks that It wasnt what I originally ordered. But I did get a RIA 1911 compact tactical for 387$ shipped and all!

Here she is everyone! Hope you enjoy my low quality blackberry pics haha! Can't wait to take her out and throw some rounds down range!

Well as long as you are happy about the screw up that is all that matters. I had that same exact model, and loved it. Congrats!

Sounds vaguely familiar to the Fusion business plan. You order an IonBond 5" steel .45acp. Bob and the fellas build you a stainless 9mm bobtail commander.

Haha yea I called and informed them about the mixup and they were 100% willing to fix the problem and ship me a fullsize. I am just too pleased with this one to go through the wait for a full size haha. I need to go out and get some .45acp ammo now to shoot

Thanks for the kind words guys!

Yea I have been reading reviews on them all day now! They are definitely good guns, I have never been a fan of compacts or sub compacts before. I have always owned full/duty size weapons. I am very pleased with this compact though!

I've been thinking of dipping my toe into the 1911 pool and was curious as to the quality and trigger feel of the RIA's. Sounds like a good shooter.

Thats how I was for awhile now, then I finally jumped in headfirst! Trust me it's great. Also the quality is awesome, and the trigger feel is very nice and crisp. I will let you know more after I shoot it tonight!

Whether the full-size or the compact, the RIAs are good shooters.

Congrats! Now tell them you want 1/4 of your money back since you only got 3/4 of the gun.
