Gun belt for SSP and Production

In most everthing I see either on video or in forums most of the shooters have a two piece type of belt.
Is the Wilderness Original Operator belt with 5 stich enough of a belt
Or do I need to get a CR Speed or DA compitition type belt.
I am going to stay in the Production and SSP divisions for now.

General Competition

I just use one of these. http://www.policehq.com/Products/BI-8100

They should be available locally from any police supply store. I use a Blade-Tech DOH holster for my Gen4 35 in USPSA. It works great and only cost me $25. You don't have to be in LE to buy gear at Streicher's (or most any other LE supply store).

You can surely spend much more.

The Wilderness 5-stitch is fine for both games.

The CR speed belts are not legal for IDPA.

I wear the Wilderness belt nearly all the time, and a Blackhawk belt for dressy occasions.

The man is correct, the inner/outervelcro belts do not make IDPA's thickness requirement. Check out the 5.11 Instructor belt with poly stiffener/. I also used a Blackhawk Riggers belt.

I wear a Wilderness 1 1/2" or 1 3/4" CSM belt anytime I'm wearing pants.

IMO, the 5 stitch is too floppy for carrying anything.

I have the 5 stitch wilderness belt for IDPA SSP and the CR speed for USPSA production. Some use just the inner belt of the CR belt for IDPA.
