Does anyone have a Heirloom Precision 1911?
They had a article this month in American hand-gunner on Heirloom Precision. Looking at the gun they did for the magazine and on there website it looks like they do high quality work that's way out of my price range. I was wondering if any of you guys have one and what do you think of them.
Just more or less curious... Even thought I did notice they did revolver work sure its out side of what I could afford thought.

I have one and you will be hard pressed to find a higher quality build.

I was reading the article and I thought I bet Bac has at least 2 or 3 of them.

I've seen it before and still everytime. Simply gorgeous. I actually like that build better than Brian's Retro.

It has a few (not many) rounds through it, although I have to admit, I have not shot it too much since I had it Hardchromed.

I'm fairly familiar with custom 1911's.
There are quite a few excellent 1911 pistolsmiths these days.
But there are about 5 that I consider to be at the Very Top of the game.
HP is one of them.

Dare I ask who the 5 are, just for curiosity sake? PM me if you will!

Don't wait by the PM box for that one
I'll take a stab:
Chuck Rogers
John Harrison
Ted Yost
Jason Burton (I know, but I stand by this one)
Ned Christiansen

It looks great Dave.
I remember when you bought it, but that's the first I've seen it hard chromed.

Here's Heirloom's Retro Styled Conversion built on a Colt WWI repro.
Ted Yost is one of the best in the business.

Never grow tired of this one. Every time it appears I am more convinced those two pics are going to cost me 2k each. Maybe I need...
