Any holsters for the Detectives Special?
Are there any holsters that will fit the Colt Detectives Special? I'd prefer a kydex rig like a fobus or uncle mikes maybe but I suppose a nylon UM would work to. But knowing the right model/size is important.
Anyone buy a holster for a Detectives Special lately?
Thanks!

FIST holsters have a wide variety.

Don't know about Kydex specifically, but pretty much every major holster maker has multiple models for the DS. Check with places like Galco, Bianchi, Hume, and so on.

I carry my SW442 in a Don Hume H717. Pretty sure they offer one for a Colt Dick.

Really?? I know holsters, especially the kydex, are very model specific.
The again a fobus for the Ruger P-Series also fits my Sig P6 so I guess there are exceptions.

Jimmy at Kholster made on for my Colt Cobra 38 Spl with 2" barrel. Very snug and secure. I wear it about 15 hours a day with complete comfort.

Wow that brings back memories. The DS was my first 38 snubby. Twas back in the upside down shoulder holster days.

FOBUS are not kydex, and fobus and uncle mike's are nothing to aspire to have. I concur with the above post- look at FIST.

Agreed, but Fobus and UM makes holsters for such a wide array of guns compared to other companies.

Very true. Sometimes, unfortunately, they're the only option.

Exactly. They have such a diverse selection, compared to anyone else I've seen, that they blow away competition with sheer availability.
