Oregonian here
hey all,
I am pretty new to these forums but thought i would stop in and say hello. my first gun was a G17 which i still own and love. i also own an SA XDM9 and have an XD40 sub-compact in order for my CCW. as for long guns, i own a Remmington 870 express that has some mods on it, also own an 870 Tactical (i love that gun so much lol), Norinko SKS, German WWII mauser k98k, and my newest addition is a Rock River Arms LAR-15 Elite Operator edition. It is one helluva a rifle lol. I can post pics somewhere if there is interest but mostly just sayin hi and cant wait to start having conversations around the forums.

Welcome, fellow Oregonian! There are a few of us around these parts, but no one ever comes in the regional forums...at least for the NW shooters. GNG is your best bet. Welcome aboard!

Sorry, but we already have our quota of Oregonians. You will just have to wait until one of us gets hit by a Max train or makes the mistake of picking our nose in front of the PPD and gets shot for reaching for a weapon for a spot to open up.

I'm new to the forums as well also in Oregon , just finally got a g19 again after making the mistake of selling the first one lol was hoping I could share my excitement ! Lol as no one I know owns or cadets.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I move here from Beaverton about 6 months ago to save $300 a month in rent, but as the weather gets nicer, and the "locals" start increasing in numbers outside, the urge to move is hitting me.

South of Hillsboro, just west of Aloha here.
And there are plenty of Aloha residents for whom English (or Engrish) is not their second language. There are plenty of Alohan's that sport mullets, have six non-running vehicles parked around their unmowed lawn, and let their chillun's run amok in little more than a soiled diaper.  I've heard more than a few of our sheriff's deputies refer to Aloha as "The anus of Washington County" - I'm almost inclined to agree with them - but the neighorhood in Tigard I used to live in gave them a pretty darn good run for that money. (112th & Gaarde in one of the apartment complexes there)

Greetings from LO. The only problem in our neighborhood is the guy who parks his pickup in my driveway. It's a beater. His weps, however, are nice and shiny, including the Kimber Classic Custom he's picking up tomorrow.
