Navy Corpsman, HM2, with 2 years at the Naval Hospital Portsmouth Va, and remaining time with the 2nd MarDiv HOOOO YAAA.
Enjoyed retirement for a while then went and got married and a masters in nursing lol. Now I'm both an ER nurse for 2 12 hour shifts per week and a travelling RN for the remaining 3 12 hour days of the week. The wife is an MD and we both work for the same hospital system.

Hi everyone,
1966-1968 USS Hancock (CVA-19)
1968-1970 USS Coral Sea (CVA-43)
Unfortunately, both of these fine ships has been scrapped. Made 4 tours of Viet Nam. Both ships were homeported in Alameda, CA.

Horseboss, I was suppossed to go to the Forrestal and a friend swapped with me so he could reenlist tax free. He was trapped below decks quite awhile. I was with Vap-61 and we changed to what ever carrier was on the line, mostly Enterprise and Constellation. We lost a destroyer during SEATO operations, the Evans zigged when it should have zagged and the Austalian aircraft carrier cut it in half in the middle of the night. They towed it to Vietnam and used it for a helo pad. We picked up the survivors early the next morning.
