Got pulled over last night. (Registration tags. Forgot to pay my taxes on time.)
So I pull out my ID and CWP. (With hands on the steering wheel)
Anyway, the cop wants to run my G19 throught the system to see if it's stolen I guess.
I tell him where it is. He pulls it out and freaks.
"Where did you get those grips!!"
"I've been looking for those!!"
"Did you have to cut them yourself." etc.(He wants them for G21 SF he carries for duty)
I told him they were Talon Grips, where to order them online, and we sat and talked about grips and Glocks for a bit.

My grips broke the ice, and probably got me out of paying a fine.
He said for me to let him know when my tags were taken care of.

Anyway, that's it.
Thought it was cool story.

I bought a set for my duty 21 and now all the other deputies want them also LMAO. To me they make one heck of a difference! I got a set for my 26 and 21. Couldnt be happier. Cant beat the price either
