No XD love in this forum?

Why no XD love here at Glocktalk? I know there is a Glock vs. XD thing, but a person can dig both. I own 11 Glocks, but my XD .40 (4") sure feels good. I'm jonesing for an XD-M.

I own both and love both. I often carry my XDSC. Great gun.

<=== think they look cool and have shot a .40cal service model. However, I don't believe they offer anything a Glock can't at usually a lower price with an edge going to the Glock in reliability. I'm a HUGE BELIEVER in Mr. Murphy and his Little Law...Grip Safeties are just anothe extra mechanical part to FAIL at the MOST CRITICAL TIME!!

i had an xdsc9 i loved it. i traded it for a glock 19 RTF. nothing wrong with my xd i had it work fine when i had it no problems. i probably had about 2k though it. i started looking in to the glock 19 cause it was lighter slimmer and more comfortable to carry.

I love XD's. I shoot an XD9 for USPSA production. It was customized by springer precision with a 3.5# competition trigger, Barsto barrel, extended mag release, polished internals and dawson precision adjustable sights. I also carry an XD40sc refinished by the late Walter Birdsong in Black T.

I got an XD 45 on a lark (trade in of an unreliable FEG) - I'm a believer. The thing is flawless. More accurate than my USP.

My XD .45 Compact is not noticeably bigger than my G23 and it is more comfortable in my hand.

im now an official xd fan. first time, i laid eyes on my xd40, it was love at first sight, bought it, now i own it. First time i shot it in the range, it was so sweet. It looks great, feels great and i just love that trigger pull. I love just playin with it, safely of course, and lookin at it before i go to bed. I think my glock, my m4, and all my other guns are jealous already...

i have three XDs, a .45 tactical, a 9MM service, and a .40 S&W service. like 'em all a bunch.

only downside, and it is a biggie for me, is i cannot get the rear sight to budge in the dovetail with a punch and a big hammer.

XD's have their advantages over the Glock (my 40SC erg's better than any of my four G's), but would have to give Glock credit for the totality of what they offer, especially a greater model range. I could easily go out and purchase at least five more Glock models - can't say that about the HS/XD's. Cheers

My XD is my carry gun. Love it. Fits me much better than a GLOCK.

I just took delivery of an XD in .45. It sure feels good in my hand, coming out of the Blackhawk Serpa CQC I got for it. Got it Monday, March 28. I'll get to shoot 400-500 rounds through it Monday-Tuesday, April 4-5, out at FrontSight, in my Handgun Skill-Builder Class. Color me excited.

I had an XD45c and mistakenly sold it. Now I'm in the market for a new one.

I wanted one for years, and almost got a .357 a few years ago. Now, there are just too many ahead of it on the list to consider. Never heard an owner bash one in person. Seems like a great little gun, but less is more, as far as those extra parts go.

My line up:
Glocks: G26, G21SF and G30SF. All have 3.5# connectors W/.25 trigger job and extended slide lock. All are accurate and reliable.

XD45 service model with PRP ultimate compitition trigger kit. Verry accurate and 100% reliable. Trigger is better than any Glock that I own and is my favorite to shoot at the range.

Other guns: S&W 66-2, Browning buck mark, Ruger MKII 6 7/8 slab side.

I go to XDTALK to comment on XD's.

I am here to show so XD love. I have a XD 45 Tactical Compact in dark earth. I love this weapon, it is my EDC. The day I bought this XD I almost bought a Glock 21, then I saw the XD setting in the case. I asked to check it out and it was love at first sight (feel). I loved how it felt in my hand. The Glock 21 was very bulky so I got the XD and not the 21. I'm still a huge Glock fan and still think Glocks are the best. I have a custom Glock 17 with all the bells and whistles. I cant help it, I just love my XD45 over the 21. Both are very good weapons. The feel of the XD45 out did the Glock 21. This is my XD love.

I absolutely love my XDm 9mm 4.5"! It's my first gun, so I'm no expert by any means, but when I went out looking I handled many different models. As soon as I held the XDm in my hand, it was love!
