The OTAPIN

I invented over ten years ago a small device which safely and positively prevents a Glock handgun from firing. It is a small pin that easily inserts behind the barrel hood and merely keeps the slide from closing all the way. The OTAPIN can be removed from a loaded gun quite easily and quickly by a trained and familiar user, but anyone else will have an inert pistol in their unauthorized hands. I have been using this system since 1994, and it works simply and positively. If anyone would like to try one out in any Glock firearm, just send me a private message with your email, and I'll get in contact with you. The OTAPIN is so safe and simple that I cannot wonder at how many unauthorized Glock discharges could have been prevented by my device, the OTAPIN, and how many lives could have been saved.

Why does this post (about this product) come up randomly?

To the OP: Instead of posting about it every other month as free advertising, take out an add here on the forum.

Why not? This is the only place that I can put it. It is such a great device, capable of saving thousands of lives.

I wasn't aware that "unauthorized Glock discharges" were taking "thousands of lives"

This Glock you speak of must be a dangerous weapon!

Just wish with all of your heart that NO criminals will ever grab an LEO's Glock from its holster and shoot the LEO with it. And well over half of the LEO holsters these days are filled with loaded Glock handguns. AND, if you are not already aware, there are no safeties on Glocks. The gun fires by merely pulling the trigger. And there are criminals out there who are quite willing to grab an LEO's Glock and commit murder with it. My OTAPIN will give the LEO precious seconds to get his/her Glock back or to employ a back-up weapon.

And it also takes "precious seconds" to deploy the weapon. Not to mention it's an unfamiliar action that requires retraining. It's basically a solution in look of a problem.

I have photos of the OTAPIN, but I cannot import them into GlockTalk. Just give me your email via private message, and I'll send three photos to you.
