That's a really slick way to mount your M3! I like it!

When figuring out what all I wanted on my "Grab this gun and be able to handle most anything the caliber can (aside from ultimate accuracy)" one requirement was that the rifle should be able to keep all its componets on the rifle. The second twist mount was the answer to that problem . I wish I could fit the other flip cap on the objective lense, oh well I suppose!
With this rifle I can:
CQB
CQB at night (using the X200B)
Long range
Long range at night (using the M3T, out to at least 100 yards)
I am changing the VG to a solid non folding grip, adding an 11.25" 1/2" rail riser from the front sight to nearly the BUIS, adding a GG&G accu cam, and a sling plate. I have a CAA capper for the stock, haven't decided on it yet, the other parts should be here next week. I might low pro the front sight and add a flip up front sight, that will be decided later on after I get some trigger time.
The optics are on the handguard, yes. I cannot detect any movement in the top half of the forearm, but I will test that out at the range. I figure with a 16" barrel, 300 meters will be about it for range, under 200 perferably.
The BUIS mounts with the windage knob on the right, is that right? If I mount it with the knob on the left, which is what seems right, it folds forwards, which I don't want.

Forget the lower with the kinda goofy engraving.
The neat part is the LMT MRP upper. Man that rocks!

Thankfully, that lower isn't asking you to go to the prom, so you don't need to worry about its looks. However, while you dislike the lower, I find myself not being a huge MRP fan, so I guess its all a matter of personal taste.
Here is another MRP pic I had laying around... with no goofy lower.

Stickman - Thanks for the pic.
The goofy engraving to me was the part about "deadmen tell no tales".
I understand the pirate nod but man that's one rifle I hate to have been in my hands if I ever had to use one for self defense.

I remember seeing him talk about it on AR15.com, I guess it has to do with lighting, and a tripod. I wish I could figure out the white background...

They aren't, but they should be released in the next month or so.
