Is that +$250 deal still on the table? I think I would have jumped all over that.

EGW is awesome.
This gun was built from the ground up on a Caspian frame by EGW.
They don't build custom guns anymore, but when they did, it was top notch work.

Yes, awesome is the word for it. Shame he doesn't build guns anymore, but he's got quite an operation with the parts business. Have you been to the shop? I got my first EGW gun from him (9x21 Open Caspian) 2 shops ago. George Smith (EGW owner) used to be a heck of a competitor too back when he was shooting the USPSA circuit.

Yeah, I've been there and was impressed.
EGW is only 15 minutes from my house.

Actually, I was there when he made it. He started with one of his long triggers (probably the same one that is in BACs gun shown above). He put it in a machine and put this flat long piece in that spun, which cut the trigger down while still keeping the serrations.
Back then, EGW was only 20 minutes away. Now it's a little more than an hour.

A Curtis gun that has been revamped to 45 ACP. I use it in BE and IPSC matches.

That's really sweet. Does the gun cycle with that on, or does it have to be manually cycled for each shot?

The can has a booster so it WILL cycle. However, I just got that barrel (storm lake) in and it needs to be fitted better before I will shoot it. Its a little rough coming out of battery.....After its fitted, yes it will run like a champ.
