My first 1911:
Click the image to open in full size.

I bought it used, but here's its history according to the original owner: It started life as a Springfield Loaded parkerized, then was sent it to Bob Cogan for a bead blast flaw removal(factory tooling marks under the finish get removed) then he did a 2-tone hard chrome finish(high areas brushed, low area matte), jeweled barrel, jeweled hammer sides, trigger job, matched plated grip screws, and carbon creations grips, and Novak low mount night sights.

Its my first "flashy" gun since most of my others are strictly owned for carry. Got to shoot it for the first time last week, and I'm in love with my 1911.

And you bought it just in time. (gearheadjunkie2 here from TR)

I had the money for it the week after you bought it. I am the original owner of that 1911, Bob Cogan did the work for me at his old shop in Safety Harbor before he moved up north. I hope you enjoy the pistol, it still looks good.

We need to get together and hit the range, Id love to shoot her again.-Adam

They look good, and look like they'd provide a great grip. Who makes them?
