Weatherby PA-459. Not soo tactical yet, but will add a light on the foregrip rail and a red dot on the top rail soon.

Hey that weatherby has a pistol grip, picatinny rail, ghost ring rear sights and front blade sights...I'd say its VERY tactical the way it is now. Nice gun that you dont see alot of.

Well I should have phrased it a little differently. It's not too "tacticool" yet. Although I wouldn't be adding the light and red dot for looks. Too expensive for me if that was the only reason. It's just not finished yet. I really would like a light for it, which will be my next purchase. Otherwise, not much for nighttime defense, unless I had NV. lol Shoots like a champ though, have yet to shoot slugs with it.

My old 500 wearing an 18.5" barrel and a specter gear shell holder and my new one, OD green specter gear shell holder in the mail for it. Nothing fancy, just functional.

Love it. The 24/7 Big Dot is the best. If you have a front bead, get the Big Dot that just glues on top of the bead. Use JB Weld and it ain't going anywhere. Again...LOVE IT.

I love that wood and steel look myself. One of the worst decisions I made was waiting to buy a blue and wood 870P when Remington was apparently discontinuing them and I stumbled over one for $350.

Love it! Sight pickup is super-rapid and when I light the surefire and the spill hits that big, white sight it's impossible not to see. Installation required a little creativity, but wasn't hard and completely worth it!

Thanks,
Lee

I'm a bit torn.. I dig the simple/clean look.. but like the feel of a pistol grip. So for now, its as modified as it'll get---My Rem870:

I got mine the other day and absolutely love the jumbo handle!!!

And those 2 Remingtons are sweet looking with those standoff muzzles. It seems like one is more flush with the mag tube than the other though?

Pistol grip stocks look cool (probably all Benelli's fault, but anyway...), but don't be afraid to rock a regular stock on your gun. I do because I find them easier to use. Easier to naturally point the gun with, easier to hold the gun one handed with, and oftentimes easier to access the fire controls with. In fact, after using a Speedfeed Tactical IV-S stock on my gun for a couple years, I put the "cool guy factor" aside and switched to a Speedfeed Youth stock (for the shortened LOP). Works a lot better now.
