absolute perfection of the K.I.S.S. principle...Glock perfection...

plus, the 17 fits my hand like a glove & has next to zero perceived recoil and holds up to 20 rounds w/ a plus-2 mag extension...

Everything i wanted to say has been said already, It is a great gun. The one thing i did not see about Glock with this thread is how popular the gun is with tv shows, movies and anything else on tv you see with guns, now that is what i call bragging rights.

It finally dawned on me! One reason that I like my Glocks is because they all look basically the same! As long as I only get one of them out at a time, my wife never knows how many I really have!
She just thinks that I'm shooting "The Glock" again!

Don't ever buy her one... and she'll never catch on!

This is an easy answer:

Reliability, Simplicity and Effectiveness, all three describe Glock IMO.

I like the rugged simplicity. Same cool factor as an AK, nothing refined but wicked tough.

Being primarily of the 1911 persuation, they are fun just because they are so different. Puts some variety into my shooting; keeps things fresh.

My 19 has been on my side for over a year now. Been to the range plenty and has a few thousand rounds through it and all the while, is has worked without fault. That is my favorite thing. It works.
