Glock longslide photo thread!

Glock 17L 9mm, first generation, "ED" serial number prefix, factory ported barrel, Austrian nitro proofmarks on barrel and frame, black internal parts, "ATT" barrel code which dates it to December 1988.

Wow, 1st Gen, very nice!

I just scored a 2nd Gen from 1991, serial ST7xxUS, opened the box at my local FFL when it came in and it looks brand new:

Updated photo, with a sibling:

Modifications have begun; note extended slide stop, and non-ported barrel (stock Glock) also has been installed (but can't be seen from this angle).

There we go! 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation 6-inch barreled longslides, and a couple of G34s thrown in for good measure!

ffcracker, would you mind saying where you picked up that pistol stand?
I think I'd like to have one for occasional display purposes...

Thanks!

I saw a gently used G17L a few weeks ago & should have taken it home but the finacial advisers wouldn't let it happen..
I gotta get myself one of these..
I've been Glockless since selling my G19RTF2..
At least I kept the 3.5lb connector & extended magazine release lever & a few other parts for my next Glock..

I seriously want to trade my 34 for a 17L! But I wish they made it in 3rd gen because I actually prefer the finger grooves.

There are 3rd gen 17Ls out there..
There's a 2nd Gen 17L on gunbroker now with the price up to $650..

I'd enjoy the G34 & wait till a 17L shows itself..
I was lucky to score mine for $425 @ the Gunshow in Louisville..

Yep, my first Longslide is a 3rd Gen 17L and from there I went nuts. Now I also got a 6.02 inch 357sig 24 with a stainless LWD upper and a 21L if you will, with a stainless LWD 6.02 inch upper. Also got a LWD stainless 34 upper on a 19 lower otherwise known as a 19XL.
