I have a Glock 15 round magazine for my G22. When it's empty, it slides in and out of the magazine well with no problem. As soon as I get 4 rounds or more in it, it starts sticking. It's difficult to insert or remove. I do not have a similar problem with any of my other magazines.
Any idea what the problem might be? Thanks!!
Sounds like you have an old style "U back" Non-Full Metal Lined (NFML) magazine. These mags had 3 metal sides and were prone to swelling when loaded. The swelling caused them to stick in most every frame.
The current production mags are Full Metal Lined (FML). They feature a complete metal box (4 metal sides) wrapped in polymer. They do not swell when fully loaded (or empty) and are known to drop free in virtually every Glock pistol ever made!
