I seem to remember getting an email from GlockMeister lately that they have some G22C RTF2s for $499. Contact them and see if they still have some.

I got my G22 RTF gills and sanded down the RTF so its "just right" . Caused it to be a little grayish in color but its the best feeling Glock I have now . Like having a Gen 2 smooth texture with finger grooves . My prefix is NAX and has a fired shell case dated 03-09 . I am not worried about fashion , just function !

I'm not sure if this means anything or not, but I finally found a Glock 23 RTF2 with gills and the shell casing with the pistol were dated 04/20/2011. Does this mean that the pistol was made around this date? The prefix on my serial number is PEV. Thanks for any information that you can give me.

This gentleman owns a gun shop in NY and has a bunch of RTF2 with gills - I'm not sure what models/calibers he has but I know he has a bunch. Contact him if you are interested in one of the RTF2 gill Glocks. Dan <dan@xpressguns.com> Good luck!

The shell casing dated 4/20/2011 means that the pistol was test fired at the Georgia GLOCK at that time but is not necessarily the date that the gun was manufactured. The highest serial for an RTF2 G23 is PEXxxx. I would speculate that some RTF2 inventory in Georgia GLOCK may have gotten buried under other inventory and just got released at a much later date.

Thank you for the information. Is there a thread that I can read to better understand the serial number system that Glock uses? I've looked and just can't find the information.

Most folks just look at the test fire date as their guns' "born on" date as that is when they became factory ready to sell/issue. Even the Austian GLOCK released pistols have a 3-letter date code on their barrels that translate to when they were test fired. A call to GLOCK may or may NOT yeild actual manufacture date (NOT sure if they keep a list of than info).

What do my Glock, Lance Armstrong, and Tom Green have in common? One nut...

I had three of them and sold two because I found some RTF2 gilled Glock 19s. The one gilled Glock 17 I kept was my NUT***.....ha ha ha, my favorite serial number of the three I had. Oops, now I'm selling it too. But I'll never part with my G19 Gillies.

Welcome to the board!
Nice collection you have there. The only one that I see missing is the regular G22RTF2.

Did Ed's or someone find some more of them, or did you buy it from an individual? I ask because I like mine enough I'd consider getting another.
The counter-argument is the Lone Wolf frame, which will be nice when it comes out...
The counter-counter-argument is that the LEO pricing on the OEM glocks makes the LWD custom option relatively more expensive...
Need to make more money to support my habit...

I got lucky, found the G21RTF2 yesterday online as a personal consignment.
Can't wait to get it to the range.
