quick question what is the advantage (if any) of the left side sling mount on my scattergun tech +2 extension? would this mean the butt-stock mount should be on the left side of the stock or is the typical underside mount on the stock ok?? thank you!

Mine has the left side sling mount and the regular underside mount for the buttstock. Works out fine. The leftside buttstock position might let it lay a bit smoother in the carry position, but I've never found it to be an issue.
