just curious if anyone had any opinion as to how this stacks up to the Galco ankle glove?

Actually, I have both. The Desantis is a little more finished on the leather as it has a tan leather liner, and the velcro strap is longer for over boot or fatter ankles. The Galco is just as comfortable, and the quality seems to be the same, just some minor cosmetic things.
