I think you're a gun nut if you read every reply in this post.
This may have been said already, but with this many replies and some late night reading, I may have missed it.
This post is going on 4-1/2 years. Gotta be a record somewhere.

If a new co-worker comes up and says: "I'm thinking of getting a pistol to use for concealed carry. Everyone said I should talk to you about what would be good to carry."

if your job doesn't allow you to carry and your co-workers are suprised that you follow the policy: "Your not packing??? Really???"

Your school doesn't allow guns in the dorms/apartments/res halls and you've had people surprised that you don't keep your gun there. "Where's your gun?" "Locked behind 400 lbs of gun safe and bolted to the floor"

You may be a gun nut if.............
-your office co-workers all assume every package you get in the mail is either ammo or gun parts;
-your office manager comes to you to handle a weapons related issue at work;
-you buy a gun simply because "It was such a great price"!;
-you base your daily wardrobe on the weapon you want to carry that day;
-you regard cleaning a gun as a holy ritual; and
-upon cleaning a gun you can't wait to get it dirty again!

What...Co-workers thinking you're getting a gun related package at work or actually getting a gun related package at work?

If your local UPS guy wants to know when you're getting your next big ammo shipment(s) in, so he can call in sick that day or schedule his hernia operation.

I'm a newb, but I had one last night;

While working on a 1911, you find enough spare parts to build another 1911.

-Yes, but my dad is my boss. (Not that we use weapons at work. but we talk about guns quite a bit during the day....)
-That's the story of MOST of my collection! Including the latest, My .44 Magnum Ruger Redhawk.

Walter45,

1. Would your dad adopt me?

2. Got any openings for a crusty old burned out retired corpsman/paramedic?
