The only time I have ever heard of a "Bumpstick" was talking about camshafts for engines.

If you tell everybody on this thread to do a search on Glocktalk on "bump firing" and find the thread entitled "Glock 19 emptied in 3 seconds."
If "THE GODS MUST BE CRAZY" for teaching you about the bumpstick.
If you just made one today and already you've had to redo your monthly budget to accomodate this sort of thing.
If you already had a shootin' buddy over with his model 19 and were more than happy to keep feeding him 33 rounders

You might be a gun nut if....
After evaluating your ammo stock, you "settle" for your 1911 in .45 ACP. And upon shooting it, the range officer complements your "comfort" with the gun!

If you apologize for trying to hi-jack this thread with tales of the bumpstick.
If you just turned all of your fellow townsfolk into bumpstick believers, and were surprised that nearly all of them owned Glocks.
If this is your bumpstick:

If you suddenly find yourself obsessed by the illustrious and exotic bump stick.
If you can make 10 thread entries on the mysterious “Bump stick”.
Or worse, if you can make Navy HMC ask "What the hell is a "Bump Stick???"
Sorry David9966, I had to...
Nice Jeep by the way.

If you buy a can of carbuerator cleaner, simply because it says:"removes carbon" on the lable, only to learn once again that a bayonet would work just as well if not better, since you would simply "Pay more attention to detail!" Am I back on track? Dave.

You might be a gun nut if....
....You are able to carry on a gun related conversation in a very public place and not have anyone know.
Me: Yeah, I have to buy some stuff later this week. What are you needing?
Friend: I can't find Federal primers.
Me: You want large or small?

If the USMC would not let you bring home your carry piece no matter how hard you begged. Damed regulations, Damned BATFE.
My carry was either a M-9, M-16A2 or M-249. The M-249 is the one I wanted to bring home with me.

If a friend shows you a film of hot girls shooting automatic wepaons and you think: "Man, she has absolutely the worst muzzle control I have ever seen." "She swept every one three times now." and "I will never go shooting with her, she still has her finger on the trigger even though the gun is pointed behind her."
Sorry guys, there is no hope for me. Just give me a good gun, some food and a case of ammo and I'll be fine.

I know a guy (went to school with his brother) who mailed home an M16A1. His mother turned him in. He got 20 months (he had 20 months to go on his 4 year enlistment) at "hard" labor (pushed a lawn mower at Ft.Benning).
When he got out with his dis-honorable discharge he asked the AG office if he could keep the rifle!
Now that's nuts.

If after getting a dishonorable discharge for mailing home an M-16, you ask the AG if you get to keep it.
That my friends is a gun nut.
For the lurkers here, yes, we know that he can't own firearms after getting a DH... But he does get style points. A bit stupid and wrong, but stylish. (But negative style points for his mom turning him in)
