Glock 17C front site

Has anyone tested this http://www.glock.com/english/index_options.htm ? I'm talking about the glock's steel version with self-illuminating tritium contrast point.

Yup, you can't do much better than an illuminating steel sight on a Glock!

With your "C" model just be sure to keep it clean.

I had the stock polymer sights on my Glock 19C before I got my XS Big Dots; the polymer sight showed no signs of wear over the 500 rounds I put through it while they were still on it. They do blacken after about 150 rounds, but you can wipe it off with your finger and your good to go. As for the steel ones, I've never seen the standard steel sights on a Glock, besides their night sights.

I read somewhere in the net that the fiber optic is easy to break if the gun fall down, is this correct?
